I work with stitched and adapted papers and surfaces; I create what can be broadly termed as craft textiles, using found and recycled materials. Through the use of washing, layering, waxing, scratching, painting, cutting, tearing, embedding, printing re-assembling and stitching I produce starting points which I explore and develop further.
The work is a reflection of my journey through the NHS, the procedures I have experienced, the people I have come in contact with.

I regularly show work in galleries, locally and throughout the UK. I have worked as Artist in Residence within a number of public establishments. I enjoy providing and facilitating community based workshops for schools, colleges, hospitals and galleries, working with a range of clients of all ages, young and not so young.
