'Under the Stars' Songwriting Masterclass with Reg Meuross

'Under the Stars' Songwriting Masterclass with Reg Meuross

Reg Meuross is the respected singer/songwriter and experienced workshop presenter for The London Song Company, who, we are thrilled to say, are lending him to us for our own inaugural workshop mini fest. He will be sharing song writing tips as well offering feedback on your songs. The Folk and Said the Maiden will also be joining us as well as Flaming June !

"London Song Company has a course/workshop/programme for you, whatever your experience and confidence, where you can stretch and develop your own unique songwriting and songwriter persona, and feel validated and supported"

Reg Meuross has been described as “our finest home-grown songwriter”, and it has been said that “his light touch and quintessential Englishness is remindful of John Betjeman set to music”.

Reg’s heartfelt songs and warm demeanor have established him as a regular at all the major folk festivals. He has released seven critically acclaimed albums. Whilst not a folk singer as such his most recent songs have concentrated on the folk art of story-song writing and Reg’s workshops often look at working with stories in songs. Whether they are true, fictional, love stories, anecdotal and observational, or just your own story.

Reg’s imaginative and finely crafted songs have earned him the title of Master Storyteller (Pennyblack Music), and prompted Mike Harding to introduce him onto the stage of The Royal Albert Hall as One of the finest singer-songwriters this country has produced.

Reg’s brand new album LEAVES & FEATHERS was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road studios and captures some of the warmth and intimacy of Reg’s live performances. Mike Harding says: “I think this is stunning!”
