Free spaces on Event Management Training for 15-19yrs - Welwyn

Essential training for any young person interested in working on live events! The Heart of Flame Festival for young performers and event managers is making this training available free of charge to 15-19 year olds interested in working on live music and dance events.

An Introduction to Event Management: Thursday 13th June, 4.30pm-7.45pm, delivered by Jo Askham, Arts Development Manager (St Albans)

Venue: Monks Walk School (Sixth Form Block), Knightsfield, Welwyn Garden City AL8 7NL

An introduction to Event Management, delivered by a local event manager who is experienced in delivering theatre events, as well as co-ordinating major outdoor civic festivals. The evening's discussion of core elements of event management (event management plans, Health and Safety, what actually happens on the day) will include tips and advice for your future events.

You will receive a certificate of attendance from this training session, but there will also be the chance to find out about opportunities to support local events for young people.
