Inclusive Theatre Groups for Children & Youth in Stevenage

Inclusive Theatre Groups for Children & Youth in Stevenage

Herts Inclusive Theatre (HIT) use the arts and wellbeing practices to build confidence, develop skills and give participants and their families memorable, enjoyable life experiences where everyone is encouraged, valued, supported and has their part to play. Led by experienced practitioners, our workshops are open to all and are especially welcoming to those with special needs.

Children and Young People can attend our weekly sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Before the global pandemic, we ran a range of classes throughout the week. As we ease out of lock-down, we are slowly re-opening our face to face sessions. Please bare with us as we adjust changes. In these sessions, participants can explore music, arts, drama, games, movement, dance, script work and much more! With focus on developing confidence and social skills, classes run for 12 weeks over three terms; autumn, spring and summer, and cover a new theme each term.

We believe in nurturing young people's creativity and self-expression through the use of drama and theatre, which means we work from a devised model of practice, ensuring that all performances are crafted from the participants own ideas. If this sounds like something that interests you we'd love to hear from you.

Groups will commence every Wednesday from 21st April 2021

Children's Theatre Group (5 -12 years): 4:45 - 6:00pm, £67 for the term
Youth Theatre Group (13 - 17 years): 6:15 - 7:45pm, £72 for the term
