Mosaic Making Home & Garden Designs, St Albans, Fri 3rd Mar

Come join me Audrey (mosaicist) at The Pavilion, Greenwood Park, St Albans for a day of mosaic making loveliness! Always wanted an original piece of art for your home or garden? Well this is the perfect workshop for you. Come and enjoy four relaxing hours of creativity designing and making your very own mosaiced door number.

Working with backerboard and a wide variety of glass mosaic tiles, you will learn how to create a successful design, snip and place your tiles and then adhere your design to your board.

These workshops are super relaxed, perfect for beginners and also those more experienced in mosaic making. The theme is your choice so it's perfect if you're coming with friends and you're keen to make different projects. So whether it's a door number for the front of your home, something for indoors or a piece of art for your garden I will guide and support you.

During this workshop we will work on boards suitable for indoor or outdoor projects.

All materials will be provided and should you not complete your design on the day you'll be given all necessary materials to take home with you and I'll be on hand to support you to complete.

So come! On your own, with a friend or family. The workshop is usually attended by adults but is open to young people who are keen to attend with a participating adult and who will be happy to participate for the duration (guide age 11 years+).

Coffee/tea and biscuits are provided throughout the workshop. You may also want to bring along a packed lunch or treat yourself to something lovely from the Lazy Llama Cafe which is on site!
