Hertfordshire Open: call for artists

St Albans Museums in partnership with UH Arts are delighted to launch a showcase of Hertfordshire’s creative talent as part of Hertfordshire Year of Culture 2020.

Who?
Practicing artists* - individuals and collectives - working in any medium, aged over 18 years and with a connection to Hertfordshire.
We particularly welcome applications from artists that are under-represented in the sector, including black and minority ethnic candidates, candidates from diverse socio-economic backgrounds, and/or candidates with disability.

What?
Opportunity for selected artists to showcase their work in a professional gallery as part of a group exhibition with Private View, prizes and events.

Where?
Weston Gallery, St Albans Museum + Gallery.

When?
Deadline for Applications: Friday 29 November, 5pm
Exhibition Dates: 4 April – 21 June 2020
Private View (prizes announced): Friday 3 April 2020

Why?
Celebration of Hertfordshire Year of Culture 2020.
