To build a sustainable future we need to ensure that our money is being invested in the right places. This talk comes just after the discussions and commitments of COP26 and will look at how investors driving the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Jason Mitchell, Co-Head of Responsible Investment at Man PLC, is at COP26 1 - 4 November and will bring what he has learned to share at this talk, what was accomplished and what is still missing.

Jason Mitchell is Co-Head of Responsible Investment at Man Group and co-chairs Man Group’s Stewardship and Active Ownership Committee.
After two years advising the UK government on infrastructure development across Sub-Saharan Africa, Jason joined Man GLG in 2010 as a portfolio manager before becoming a sustainability strategist across Man Group in 2017.
Jason’s sustainable investment contributions have featured in international publications including as a contributing author to the CFA UK’s Certificate in ESG Investing Textbook (Ed. 2, 2020). He also hosts the award-winning podcast series, A Sustainable Future. Jason serves on the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group Lab Steering Group, Sustainable Accounting Standards Board Investor Advisory Group, the CFA Institute’s ESG Technical Committee, the Alternative Investment Manager Association’s Responsible Investment Committee and the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment Academic Advisory Committee.
