'Creative Carnival Cut outs' - Schools Workshops

As part of a Hertfordshire primary school's multi-cultural week, I designed and delivered eight art workshops on the theme of 'Carnival', inspired by Matisse's 'Cut Outs' exhibition. The collages created by the children were all strikingly different, and cutting coloured paper with scissors enabled each of them, from year 3 to year 6, to produce fantastic results, capturing the movement, colour and fun of a carnival. The two and a half hour sessions were delivered with fellow Hertfordshire artist, Angela Mellen.
