Journaling away stress and anxiety 6 week course

I would like to invite you to join me on a 6 week art journaling course starting on Saturday 16th January 10am to 20th February.

Art journaling is a wonderfully creative way to relax and express yourself and the idea of this course is to use art journaling techniques to learn ways to relax and manage daily stress and anxiety.
To gain the most from this course it will be good for you to set aside time to practice and develop the skills and techniques you learn.
During the course you will learn how to create a junk journal and a concertina journal. We will then use a range of techniques to decorate the pages using journaling prompts.
As far as possible we will be using materials you already have at home.
The list of things you may need are: Cereal boxes or other cardboard packaging, copier paper, envelopes and junk mail, pens, pencils, crayons, paint, fine liner, old store card or piece of plastic, string, ribbon, buttons, needle and thread, old magazines, paper napkins, old tickets, fliers, PVA or glue stick Hopefully you will have time to get these things together before we start.
However, if you live in Hemel Hempstead and can't get out right now I can put a little pack together with glue, papers, napkins, needle and thread. Just message me if you would like me to make a delivery to you, with your address and favourite colours and I will drop it to your door. There will be a small additional charge for this.

About the tutor: I have been working with people experiencing stress, anxiety or depression for over 3 years now and have found that regular creativity and art practice have been beneficial in reducing symptoms and enabling people to begin to manage their own health and wellbeing.
