There looks to be something in the water as Artistsmeet introduce the 2016 exhibition programme!

Artistsmeet will be featuring the work of Jo Atherton, a Hertfordshire based artist who creates fascinating and playful tapestries using debris and materials found from scouring the coastlines of the UK.

Expect to discover balloons from France, fishing gear from the Netherlands and toys from the USA within Jo’s weaved pieces, which will fill the gallery and conjure up stories of memory, childhood and everyday life. There will even be a 'work in progress' loom on display, allowing visitors to touch and feel the weaving as well as see it visually.

She is fascinated by the curiosities that the tides wash up on to our beaches, the history associated with where they came from and who they belonged to, more about Jo can be found at
