What is it about?

This workshop will explore how to develop a mobile site for your organisation. Shakespeare’s Globe successfully launched their mobile site in January 2013 and Jack will share his experience with delegates during this workshop.

Jack will explore how to take a strategic approach to developing a mobile site considering; managing the process internally with colleagues and externally with agencies; top tips for effective project management; building a user-centred site map.

This course is for people who are leading the development of their organisation’s mobile site.

Trainer: Jack Harris, Digital Manager, Shakespeare’s Globe

Jack is Digital Manager at Shakespeare’s Globe where is he responsible for developing the organisation’s online presence and digital strategy. The Globe’s digital presence incorporates web, email, social and mobile, with the digital department working across all areas of the Globe, including theatre, education, exhibition, development and retail. With over 7 years experience of working within the arts, ­both in-house and agency, Jack also co-organises Art of Digital London, events focusing on digital strategy in the cultural sector.

Prior to Shakespeare’s Globe, Jack worked on digital projects and strategies for arts and tourism organisations, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Borough Market and Exeter Northcott Theatre. One half of the ever-popular we ate this. food blog, he also believes himself to be fluent in Franglais (that’s French mixed with English).
