Breakaway Theatre Company presents "Woman in Mind", a surreal play by Alan Ackbourn. Woman in Mind is one of Alan Ayckbourn's funniest yet darkest comedies.Susan is an ordinary suburban housewife, but she has become dissatisfied. Her husband Gerald takes her for granted; they share their home with Gerald's inept sister Muriel; and her son Rick hasn't spoken to his parents in two years. So Susan invents a perfect family, with hilarious, sometimes tragic, consequences. The audience sees all the action through Susan's eyes as she descends gradually into mental collapse. At times it will make you laugh out loud, and at others it will bring a tear to your eye. Be prepared for a funny and emotional evening.
