St Albans Symphony Orchestra (SASO) 27JUN26 concert

Our last concert of the 2025/26 season ‘A Night at the Opera’ will showcase some of our favourite opera overtures and arias. The performance commences at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday June the 27th, at St Pauls Church , Blandford Road, St Albans AL1 4JP.
We welcome soloists Lucy Farrimond (soprano) and Robert Forrest (tenor). Our Artistic Director Bill Carslake will conduct.

• Verdi: La Traviata - Prelude Act 1, Brindisi, E Strano!, Ah fors' e lu, Sempre Libera
• Verdi: Aida - Act II - Grand March
• Puccini: La Boheme - from Che gelida

• Donizetti: L'elisir d'Amore - Una Furtiva Lagrime
• Donizetti: L'elisir d'Amore - Chiedi all'aura Lusinghiera
• Dvořák: Rusalka - Měsíčku na nebi hlubokém
• Gounod: Roméo et Juliette - Nuit d'hyménée
• Rossini: Guillaume Tell - Overture
