Administration Coordinator, Royal Opera House Bridge

Administration Coordinator, Royal Opera House Bridge

£25,000 per annum, full-time (40 hours per week).
Fixed-term contract, initially until March 2018. Based in Purfleet.

Royal Opera House Bridge works to `connect children and young people with great art and culture`. A rich and meaningful cultural life, both in and out of school, is the right of all children and young people. Through strengthening the local cultural infrastructure, we strive to enable all children to access creative learning opportunities, wherever they live.

We work across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and North Kent to `bridge` the gaps that exist between arts and cultural organizations, schools and communities. We act as a catalyst to create sustainable, needs-led cross sector partnerships that attract investment.

We now have a vacancy for an experienced and committed Administration Coordinator to join our busy team. The role provides comprehensive and proactive administrative support to the ROH Bridge team, overseeing the day-to-day administration of the programme, providing PA support to senior managers and fulfilling the role of office manager.

The successful candidate will be an effective team player and able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:
- Sustained experience of office administration and support work in a busy office.
- Experience of financial and contract administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders in a range of settings.
- Proven capacity to work under pressure and manage a busy workload.
- The ability to assimilate new information and good problem solving ability.
- Very strong Microsoft Office skills and experience of data entry.

This role is based at the Royal Opera House Learning and Participation office at the High House Production Park in Purfleet, with a requirement for occasional travel within the ROH Bridge region and some work at Covent Garden. There will be an opportunity to have a tour of this site as part of the interview process.

ROH Bridge is currently funded to March 2018, with an application currently in process to extend this until March 2022. We actively encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds and value the positive impact that difference has on our teams.
