A reminder also for next year's Festival, that the local community are being encouraged to open up their homes to visitors by letting out a spare room, flat or even entire home, or by volunteering to host people for free for next year's Festival and also for this year's Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.
This is due to the pressure on bed spaces in the area to accommodate visitors, as well as national and international performers, artists, musicians and composers during the busiest times of the year.
