Freelance Artist, Ignite Imaginations

Ignite Imaginations is looking for a freelance artists to join it's pool of artists. Details are below:

Ignite Imaginations is a community arts charity based in Sheffield who work with professional artists to deliver a wide range of high quality, creative activities across the city and surrounding areas.

We rely on a team of committed, skilled artists to deliver our inspiring activities. We are currently looking for up to four freelance artists to join our organisation.

We particularly encourage applications from creative writers and poets, digital artists, film makers and facilitators and sculpters.

We are also keen to receive applications from underrepresented groups on our current artist’s pool such as men and BME communities.

We are looking for someone with:
•A high standard of creative skill and expertise
•Outstanding workshop facilitation and community engagement skills
•At least 1 years’ experience delivering workshops in a variety of community settings.
•Experience of working with at least one of the following groups-; older people, school aged children, adults with mental health issues, 16-25 year olds, BME communities.

The deadline is 12 noon Friday 15th July. Please send your application by post to Ignite Imaginations, Crookesmoor Training Centre, 145 Crookesmoor Road, Sheffield, S6 3FP.

NOTE: We cannot accept email applications so please leave sufficient time to ensure your application reaches us by post before the deadline, or that you are able to drop it off in person by this date (Not over the weekend or after working hours as the postbox is sealed and the office closed out of working hours).
