Mural takes shape in Queensgate Market event space

The mural by artist Kasia Breska is taking shape in Queensgate Market as she continues to brighten up the event space. This image shows the vibrant colours used on the end wall and the start of the large back wall. Work continues this week and Kasia will be talking about her work and this project as part of the Huddersfield Psychogeography event taking place over 7 & 8 September 2018 www.creativekirklees.com/huddersfield-psychogeography-nwk/

The project is part of the Temporary Contemporary initiative which places contemporary art within vacant spaces within Queensgate Market. and is a partnership between the traders at Queensgate Market, Kirklees Council Markets and Creative Economy Teams and the School of Art, Design and Architecture, University of Huddersfield.
