Police and Crime Commissioner's Safer Communities Fund (SCF)

A new round of grants for the Police and Crime Commissioner's Safer Communities Fund (SCF) opened on Monday 14th March. Local organisations and groups can apply for a grant of up to £5000.

The Safer Communities Fund has been launched to help voluntary, community groups, charities and partners make their communities safer and feel safer. Grants will be awarded in line with the priorities set out in the Police and Crime plan.

Fund Objectives:

• To put POCA money back into communities
• Promote a simple, inclusive and transparent grant process
• To provide grants which can make a difference and make communities safer and feel safer

Overall the fund will support projects which seek to bring partners and communities together to tackle priorities in the Police and Crime Plan.

The deadline for Round 8 is 15 April 2016 at 5pm.
