Wanted - people and organisations to help Prince’s Trust members

Can you help young people on the Prince's Trust programme? They are looking for people and organisations to offer community projects, work placements and also guest speakers to inspire the young people on the programme.

Information about the Prince's Trust programme is below:

The Prince’s Trust team programme is a personal development programme for young people aged 16-15. It last 12 weeks and enables members to get a qualification at the end of the programme in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills. During the programme young people take part in a residential, a community project where they will spend at least 5 days offering practical support to a project in the community, for example painting and gardening. They will then complete a 2 week work placement in a field of their choosing to gain skills for employment. We also spend time over the course developing numeracy, literacy skills and practical life skills in areas such as time management, cv writing and conduct and work. Finally the young people complete a group challenge and a do a presentation to their peers, family, friends and others involved in the programme.
