Joy Collective @ Exeter Phoenix 6 Nov 08

The JOY COLLECTIVE is a new multi-disciplinary South West based arts movement, currently comprising six visual artists, three choreographers, two music artists and one filmmaker. Whilst continuing their own individual practice, all joined forces last year to produce the first in a series of highly innovative live multi-artform showcases set to challenge traditional conceptions of visual art, contemporary dance and live music.

By thinking outside the box, sharing skills, allowing the re-interpretation of their work, presenting it in a live event setting and with the use of new media technology, the JOY COLLECTIVE has created a potentially groundbreaking new way of presenting art.

Now there is a unique chance to see the pilot of the first ever JOY COLLECTIVE showcase at Exeter Phoenix, where it will premiere before going on tour.
