She writes all of her songs, and plays piano, drums and guitar to a high standard.

Her interests lye within many different types of music, but she finds herself mainly in soul/ R&B and jazz. Alice has been performing from an early age, having been brought up within a very musical and talented family.

Her mother, Clare Alexander, LRAM, a successful opera singer and concert pianist. Her father, a piano tuner for Covent Garden Opera House. Her step-- father, drummer of the 'Tamla Tigers', and her brother, Tom, a stand up comedian and member of comedy improvisation group 'Off The Cuff'.

Alice started her career by joining the stage school 'Stages' of Horsham in 2000. Here she featured in many shows, and won many dance competitions and awards, and went on to be in the Horsham pantomime 'Aladdin' in 2003. Unfortunately, she then came down with glandular fever in 2004. She then became very unwell with M.E. In Feb 2009, Alice undertook a treatment called 'The Lightning Process' and claims this to have been the key to now being on the road to a full recovery and being able to persue her dreams.
Alice Ella hopes to raise awareness of M.E. and to donate a percentage of her profits to 'The M.E. Association'

She recently won the 'Young Popstar 2009' competition, STN Music, winning £200 for her charity, the M.E. Association.

Alice Ella is now gigging with a new band, including guitarists Stefan and Henry Child.

She is also now gigging in London, having recently played at Ronnie Scott's,The Tabernacle, and Proud!

Her interests lye within many different types of music, but she finds herself mainly in pop/soul/ R&B/ jazz.
Her songs refer heavily to her past relationships and to her personal struggles in life, making her songs very personal, and powerful.

She has been likened to a modern day Kate Bush.
