In Feb 2009, Alice undertook a treatment called 'The Lightning Process' and claims this to have been the key to now being on the road to a full recovery and being able to persue her dreams.
Alice Ella hopes to raise awareness of M.E. and to donate a percentage of her profits to 'The M.E. Association'

Her songs refer heavily to her past relationships and to her personal struggles in life, making her songs very personal, and powerful.
She has been likened to a modern day Kate Bush.
