Museum of Now - Lace-making

Over the summer months, groups will be making personal and collective objects that will become part of Torquay Museum's exhibitions in the autumn.

If you are interested in learning a traditional form of lace-making and would be willing to join an inter-generational group to make pieces based on microscopic lifeforms in and around the bay, then we'd love to hear from you. We will also be looking at connections between people in Torquay both in the past and today. No skills are necessary and the workshops are FREE.

Workshop dates: 22nd, 23rd, 26th & 27th August.
