Fever! The History of Disease in Herts (online event)
This talk traces the many diseases and epidemics that have affected Hertfordshire since the 1300s. We'll be exploring original records to find out how local people were affected by the 'swetyng sycknesse', smallpox, cholera and sadly, many others. We'll also be looking at the steps that were taken to contain and prevent disease.
As this talk will be hosted using MS Teams, participants will need access to a computer, tablet or phone with audio. Instructions for joining the talk will be sent in advance via email, so please ensure that you provide a current email address when you book. Registration opens 15 minutes before the start of the event.
The event is on the 27th January and it will be an online live streamed event. This event cost is £6.
The event starts at 7:30pm and will be 1 hour. There are 50 spaces available and booking will be required.
