Call for Creative Lead for Hoot Creative Arts to work on Going Sane? projects.

Hoot Creative Arts is looking for a freelance Creative Lead for its flagship Going Sane? project. Going Sane? will work with a number of community groups to explore what we mean by sanity and madness in the modern world and how they relate to creativity. We want a Creative Lead to support and direct the artists leading these community projects.
We need a Creative Lead who
• can facilitate, provoke and inspire
• has a track record in making exciting and challenging art
• has a track record of making high quality community art
• has insight into working with vulnerable people

Going Sane? has 2 key elements. Element one involves recruiting and training a number of “New Blood” artists who want to work with Hoot. Element 2 involves developing community projects for the New Blood artists to work on. We have a Project Manager in place to oversee the whole project. We need a Creative Lead to work alongside the Project Manager, to provide facilitation and direction to the New Blood artists.
