Conversations in Sculpture artist's workshop led by Victoria Fer

The aim of this workshop for young people is to expand the Conversation in Sculpture by looking, sharing and making. The conversation will begin with loosening up drawing exercises in the gallery as a way of understanding the sculptures in the exhibition. From the 2 dimensional line on paper we will progress to the 3 dimensional line in space using wire. In the workshop space in the gallery we will then extend these ideas and explore abstraction by introducing additional materials such as air drying clay, corrugated card, string, wool, and found objects. At the end of a creative and experimental session we will look at the relationships between the works and the dynamics of our
sculptural installation.
