April’s Picture of the Month is Milton, East Knoyle by Lucien Pissarro.
Join Simon Poë on Saturday 6th April at 1pm to discuss the techniques and themes behind Pissarro’s painting.

Lucien Pissarro was the son of the Impressionist Camille Pissarro. He settled permanently in London in 1890 and brought first-hand experience of the Paris avant-garde to the English art-scene. With Walter Sickert, Harold Gilman and others he was a founder-member of the Camden Town Group.
