MAKING CREATIVE WORK IN NEW SETTINGS: WORKING WITH INTERGENERATIONAL GROUPS:

Children and young people working with groups of elders

In the current economic climate, it is vital that writers and other arts practitioners have the skills and knowledge to respond to different opportunities.

This workshop, led by Sara Clifford from Inroads Productions, will help writers and other artists develop new skills, diversify their income, be in a position to take advantage of opportunities and take the initiative in creating projects and working in partnership with schools / youth groups, and elders’ settings, such as day centres.

The session will include a visiting guest speaker from the sector.

Sara Clifford works as a writer and drama practitioner in educational, health and criminal justice settings, including work for the National Theatre and Nottingham Playhouse, and as an Education Associate for the Donmar Warehouse Theatre; three residencies for St Christopher’s Hospice; and projects for Clean Break Theatre Company and Magic Me Intergenerational Arts.
