Paignton Soprano Jane Anderson-Brown virtually swept the board at the Torbay Music Festival on May 12th 2012. She won six of the eight classes she entered, achieving Distinction in all of those classes. She also won the overall best Soprano, and the overall best Singer (Rosebowl).
In addition one of her young students, Sophie Irene Shaw, won both of the classes she entered, and the award for the most promising young female singer in the festival.
