Tour and Tea

Adult Learners Week Tours.

Many visitors ask if they can book individually for one of the enjoyable tours that are usually only offered to our Group Visitors. As part of the Adult Learners Week (see www.alw.org.uk) we are offering two of our most popular tours.

Choose from either :

Lytton Ladies - an afternoon tour of the House focussing on the remarkable ladies of the Lytton family, including champion of the suffragette movement Lady Constance Lytton.

Historical Garden - tour of the famous historical Garden, which was redesigned by Sir Edwin Lutyens. You will also see the Herb Garden which was restored to an original plan by Gertrude Jekyll.

Guests will meet at about 1.50 pm to make their way to the House or Garden for the start of their tours, which last for about an hour. After the tour, visit the Garden Terrace Tea Room for a delicious cream tea, from 3.30 – 4.15 pm.

This event should be pre-booked. Tickets are £20.00 per person.
