Exeter Library Live Presents Deborah Moggach

Best-selling author, Deborah Moggach has written 16 novels, including “Tulip Fever” and “These Foolish Things”, now released as the movie “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel”. She has adapted several of her books for film and TV, such as “Close Relations”, “Final Demand” and “Seesaw”. Other adaptations include “The Diary of Anne Frank” and the BAFTA-nominated screenplay of “Pride and Prejudice”, starring Keira Knightley.

Deborah will be in Exeter to talk about writing ‘These Foolish Things’, released under its new title 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' and the experience of having a successful book turned into an even more successful movie.
