Mandala Mosaic Design for Garden or Home

Come join Audrey (mosaicist) at The Pavilion, Greenwood Park, Chiswell Green, St Albans for an evening of mosaic making loveliness!

The first in our series of new workshops, this mandala making workshop is sure to delight. The colours, the glass, the patterns, shimmer and shine, it's sure to be a great evening!

Working with a large selection of colourful glass mosaic tiles and mosaic embellishments including mirror, glass dots, drops and glass pebbles you will create a beautifully unique mosaic mandala suitable for your home or a perfect piece of garden art for your table this summer!

Your design will be created on a 20cm acrylic circle substrate and using a mandala design template you will be guided through the mosaic making process by Audrey. You will learn how to effectively snip and place your glass and embellishments to create your mandala design. A demonstration within the workshop will show you how to grout your completed piece at home once your glue has set and you'll be provided with a small bag of grout and step by step instructions to take away with you.

Our workshops are super relaxed, perfect for beginners and also those more experienced in mosaic making. And our evening classes make the perfect night out for those wanting to catch up with friends and family or to come and meet some like minded crafty folk!

Coffee/tea and biscuits are provided throughout the workshop but you're also welcome to bring along your own drinks and snacks to enjoy while you craft.
