Garden Mirror & Mandala Mosaic Workshop, St Albans, Sun 15th Oct

Come join me for a lovely relaxing Sunday afternoon where you will design and create a mirror or mandala mosaic design.

Come and create your unique design for your garden or home and enjoy selecting your colour choices from my large selection of beautiful glass and embellishments.

Design a mandala: Your design will be created on a 20cm acrylic circle substrate and using a mandala design template you will be guided through the mosaic making process. You will learn how to effectively snip and place your glass and embellishments to create your mandala design.

Design a mirror: Your design will be created on a 30cm round or square mirror template with a 12cm mirrored middle.

You will learn what glues to use for indoor and outdoor projects and

a demonstration within the workshop will show you how to grout your completed piece at home once your glue has set. You'll be provided with a small bag of grout and step by step instructions to take away with you.

So come! On your own, with a friend or family. Sessions are very relaxed and welcoming and suitable for complete beginners and those already experienced in mosaic making. The workshop is usually attended by adults but is open to young people who are keen to attend with a participating adult and who will be happy to participate for the duration (guide age 11 years+).

Coffee/tea and biscuits are provided throughout the workshop. You may also want to bring along a packed lunch or treat yourself to something lovely from the Lazy Llama Cafe which is on site!
