Hitchin Camera Club: Inspired by Arbus Exhibition

This exhibition showcases the talents of the photographers of Hitchin Camera Club. The members have been inspired to head out and about to produce portrait photography in the iconic style of master photographer Diane Arbus ahead of an exciting exhibition of her work here.

Diane Arbus (1923-1971) is one of the great figures of 20th century photography and her photos will be on show at our museum between 2 December 2023 and 25 February 2024 as part of the national ARTIST ROOMS scheme, in partnership with Tate and National Galleries of Scotland.

Hitchin Camera Club was formed in 1972 and currently has 57 members. Meetings are held on Thursday evenings between September and May, at Walsworth Baptist Church.
