Ray Vyse

Ray Vyse Anisotropic Art, Photography and Digital Art.

Anisotropic Art is evolving. The natural grain of wood gives it anisotropic properties - Physical properties which differ according to direction. Recent work is becoming more abstract and more adventurous. My aim is to create unique images in wood by cutting and shaping with saws, chisels, gouges and handheld power tools. The directional qualities of my wall art are increasingly enhanced with added colour. The most recent work is about form, colour and relief shadows.
