Trained at Central School of Art in the late 1970's, I recently started exploring creativity, enjoying different mediums and techniques. I love the tonal qualities of pastels, the sensitivity of watercolour, the vibrancy of acrylic, the immediacy of acrylic and the immersion of oils. I enjoy creating layered effects incorporating dried flowers, fabric pieces and other materials. As a bit of a 'tecky' I help authors to self publish books with illustrations as well as digitally preparing the books for publishing.

Currently I am exploring the fascinating medium of Brusho pigments which explode with colour when water is added; controlling the colour is a challenge!
