What can I do at the Taster Day?

You will have the opportunity to sit in a lecture, get hands on and creative, meet the staff and socialise with students.

Felt making workshop

This workshop will give you an introduction to the process felt making. You will be using a rage of coloured fleeces to layer and matt, to create a rich colourful piece of cloth with you can take away for your portfolio

Ceramics Taster

The ceramics workshop will cover how to make a Pinch Pot and how to make a Slab Pot. You will be in the ceramics workshop discovering different clays.

Jewellery Taster

There will be an Enamel workshop where you will be introduced to enamelling a small piece of jewellery.
