Disturbed Landscape

This work represents a new direction in my work. 'Disturbed Landscape', attempts to express visually the feelings engendered by atmospheric phenomenon that can auger a sense of mystery, anticipation and disturbance.

This print incorporates three different print processes - the base layer is a photogravure etching, which has been printed onto Somerset paper, in an experimental way that leaves a textured finish. Layered over that is a gelli plate, abstract print on handmade Nepalese paper.
