ABOUT US

We are one of the few specialist arts broadcasters in the UK. Through the Radia network we link up with other pioneering radio art projects around the world. Unlike other Radia members, we are based in a rural location, and this is what our listeners tune into. Radio is the ideal rural art form, bringing new work into people's homes over sparsely populated areas.

We welcome enquiries from anyone with a great idea for a radio programme, whether you have any experience or not. Soundart Radio creates a safe and friendly environment where the audience is a silent and invisible, constant presence. In this setting creativity, confidence and communication skills grow over time.
