Temporary Contemporary Happening - Fri 6 September

Our first Temporary Contemporary Happening for 2019/20 takes place on Friday 6 September 5.00-7.30pm in Queensgate Market. The evening will be a chance to preview the first exhibition of our new programme and other showcases taking place in vacant market stalls.

Fieldworks: Dialogues in Psychogeography - Rob Lycett, Garry Clarkson, Carl Meddings, Tim Brown, Andrew Conroy, Sam Welburn
Fieldworks is a psychogeographic exploration through location, specific dialogues, mapping and photography, exploring notions of identity, place and belonging. In conjunction with the 4th World Congress in Psychogeography (6-8 Sept 2019).

Matthew is an enthusiastic, self-taught local amateur photographer, who loves light and is happy to try all genres of photography. His images represent his photographic journey since buying his first camera in 2010.

Rainforest exhibition 2 - An exhibition featuring vibrant, colourful artworks with a tropical theme, plus information about how we can help to save the Rainforest.

Everyone welcome - Entrance via Princess Street or Peel Street.

Wrapik will be open for food and thanks to Magic Rock Brewery who are sponsoring the Market Gallery preview
