Interior Traces

Thursday 6 May
7.30pm Studio 1, Dartington Hall

Imagine a world where a single test can determine your future.

Catie has been told that she risks developing cancer, whilst Mike is treated as a psychopath although he hasn't committed any crime. Interior Traces is a powerful multi-media performance telling the stories of two people struggling to regain control over their lives, in a future when scans and genetic tests are part of everyday life.

New ways of seeing the brain and understanding its relationship to our actions have raised many questions: should we be held responsible for behaviour caused by a brain condition? How should the State balance personal privacy and its citizens' safety? Should we be free to decide our own treatments?

Duration 40 mins.
Followed by a panel discussion.

Tickets £8.00
