East of the Sun and West of the Moon

The Barefoot Players present East of the Sun and West of the Moon, an original play based on an adaptation of the classic folk tale.

In a secret attic room of a safe house, a small group of people hide from the ever-increasing danger of the world outside. Unable to open the windows or the curtains, they rely on each others’ company and the power of stories to stay sane. A new way of telling an old story, with tenderness and humour, East of the Sun and West of the Moon premiered at the 2011 Lindfield Arts Festival.

East of the Sun and West of the Moon is suitable for all ages. Sussex tour dates as follows:
