Glasshaus XII

ARTWORKS IN GLASS at The Gallery
21st September - 29th October 2017

This year’s exhibition of works of art in glass,Glasshaus XII, will feature artists who have studios here at Parndon Mill, Heike Brachlow, Yuki Kokai, Jon Lewis and Ewa Wawrzyniak along with associates Karen Murphy and James Lethbridge. They will be joined by other glass artists whom they have chosen to invite. Several of the artists are exhibiting pieces which have recently been shown in the prestigious British Glass Biennale, including the sculpture by Heike Brachlow which won the Sellers prize.

Most of the techniques of glass making will be represented in the exhibition - kiln casting and sand casting, fusing, stained glass, jewellery making and of course glassblowing. Some spectacular pieces will be on view as well as useful ones.
