Children can enjoy SCRAPtastic Easter crafts at Tolson Museum in Huddersfield on Wednesday, 11 April.
Using recycled materials, youngsters will be able to make egg box spring frames and Easter chicks. There will be two sessions, 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm, for children aged 3-12 years. The cost is £3.50 per child.
Families can drop in at any time to join in; there is no need to book places. Parents must accompany children throughout.
In addition, the museum in Ravensknowle Park, Wakefield Road, Huddersfield, is running its annual Easter Egg Trail from Good Friday, 30 March, until Thursday, 12 April. Children have to find the letters on hidden eggs and work out the Easter-themed word or phrase.
The free trail will be available during the museum’s opening hours – Good Friday, Easter Monday and Tuesday to Thursday 11am-5pm, Saturday and Sunday 12noon-5pm.
