TOLSON GUIDED TOURS

There is another chance to have a revealing look at Tolson Museum in Huddersfield on Sunday 15 July. Guided tours are being run at 1pm and 2.30pm.
The tours are FREE but numbers are limited so places should be booked on the day at the reception desk of the museum in Ravensknowle Park on Wakefield Road.
The tours are a chance to learn more about the Victorian mansion which was built in the late 1850s for a local textile baron and the people who lived there before it became a museum in 1922. They last approximately 40 minutes and are family friendly.
There will be more free tours of Tolson Museum on Sundays 19 August, 23 September, 21 October, 18 November and 16 December. Also, groups are able to book their own guided tour by contacting the museum.
