Celebrate the past, present and future of St Albans School of Art at a special closing event for 'Firm Foundations Part II' – and your last chance to see the exhibition before it closes!

Join us for an evening of creativity, conversation and connection as we unveil brand-new digital works by emerging artists from the School of Creative Arts – the current home and living legacy of what began at St Albans School of Art. Presented in our new Immersive Cave, these bold new responses bring fresh energy to the exhibition and spotlight how today’s Digital Arts and Media students have interpreted the themes, stories and spirit of the School’s rich history.

Developed in direct response to the exhibition, the works explore the enduring influence of St Albans School of Art through immersive visuals, audio-visual storytelling and experimental digital creativity – honouring the past while looking firmly to the future.

The evening will also feature a Q+A with the exhibition curators and participating students, offering behind-the-scenes insight into the making of both the major dual-venue exhibition and the new digital commissions.

Celebrate with us over drinks and nibbles, connect with artists, curators and academics, and be part of this moment that brings together generations of creative practice.
