‘Lockside’ – an exhibition of canal-related art

‘Lockside’ – an exhibition of canal-related art

The newly-opened Batchworth Lock Education Centre is the venue for an exhibition of canal-related art as part of the Rickmansworth Festival weekend.
I’ll be at the exhibition on both days, along with other artists – members of the Rickmansworth and District Art Society, the Guild of Waterway Artists, as well as a local photographer, and craftspeople demonstrating traditional Canal Art and linocutting.

The Festival includes all sorts of family activities including boat trips on the canal, five music stages, a funfair and a variety of food and drink offerings.
Download the Festival guide for a full programme and Festival map.

This is a very busy annual event and there’s no parking at the Batchworth Lock Education Centre. If driving, follow the AA signs and park at Stockers Farm. From the car park, walk along the towing path to Batchworth Lock.
The Festival relies on donations. Please donate at least £2 per person at one of the collection points.
