Getting started at HALS April 2022 (online event)

A free guide to researching our archive and local studies resources

As this talk will be hosted using MS Teams, participants will need access to a computer, tablet or phone with audio. Instructions for joining the talk will be sent in advance via email, so please ensure that you provide a current email address when you book. Registration opens 15 minutes before the start of the event.

This session will show you:

1. What to expect when you come for your Archive Reading Room appointment
2. How to search our collections online (library catalogue, the Hertfordshire Names Online index and the archive catalogue)
3. How to book your appointment

The event is on the 12th April and it will be an online live streamed event. This event is free but donations are welcome.

The event starts at 7:30pm and will be 1 hour long. There are currently 14 spaces available, and booking will be required.
